Christina Aguilera was born to Fausto Wagner Xavier Aguilera, a Sergeant in the U S Army and Shelly Loraine Fidler, a Spanish teacher. Her parents divorced when she was seven years old. Christina Aguilera along with her sister Rachel went to live with her mother at her grandmother's home in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Her mother later married a paramedic named Jim Kearns.
Christina Aguilera took to singing in her childhood and she was popularly known as 'a little girl with a big voice'.
